Jesus Christ>Is in (temporary/self-imposed) Exile:

During his earthly ministry, (to Israel, as their Messiah) he spoke these words concerning his return to re-claim this earth as his own:

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

 <The operative word in the passages cited here is 'cometh', or come-it is as certain as the air you are breathing that he WILL come-the only question is when, which we are not privy to. The point being is are you ready? By 'ready' I mean have you trusted Christ as Saviour? That's the only thing you can do, to be 'ready' for the rapture, soon to come!
